Hi Nejo:
Jim and I would like to thank you for organizing our recent holiday in Turkey.
Apart from the hiccup on our arrival in Istanbul, everything else went like clockwork.
I should mention that when we arrived in Fethiye the boat had already departed the day bef...
Hi Nejo, Just want to let you know that we had a wonderful time visiting the beautiful sites in Turkey. The accommodation you arranged for us in Pamukkale, Antalya and Cappadocia are just perfect for our needs, with easy access to town and yet not right in the middle of all the hustle bustle. We particularly enjoyed the hospitality of the folks at SOS Cave Hotel. They are friendly and helpful providing an intimate and warm feeling of a bed and breakfast rather than a hotel. The apricots from their tree are the most delicious apricots I had. Thanks for the attentions to every detail that made our journey carefree. Attached are a couple of pictures from our trip: 1) With our friendly host at SOS Cave Hotel, a young man named after volcano who is the cousin of the owner. 2) Being fooled by the ice cream man in Antalya. I didn't know what to expect at first..
The constant emails from you really helped ease my mind.
On arrival, all went as planned and the entire trip was as well organized as can be.
The hotels selected, were comfortable and always in a prime area where food was easy
to get. And when we needed to change dates and cities to visit, you came through.
Thanks for that. We saw all that we came to see and did everything that we wanted to do,
though there's a lot more to see and do in Turkey.. Wish we had more time...and MONEY.
We got home safe and very happy.
My best holiday so far.
Thanks again .

Hello Nejo,After a very long holiday we have finally arrived back home. I must apologise for not emailing you while we were still travelling, but I just did not feel up to writing a proper review of our Turkey trip while we were still underway. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Turkey! We met many people and found out a lot about life in Turkey, so much better than on an organised bus tour where you are basically kept isolated from the people. About the hotels: The Best: Angora House in Ankara. Nice big room with comfortable beds and chairs, good lounge and breakfast areas. Wireless internet. Very unusual location in the Citadel, a steep climb from the city. Levent, the manager, was very friendly and helpful.Equal Best: Canyon View Cave Hotel in Goreme. The room was smaller and it had no seating, but this was made up for by the view from the terrace where we had breakfast and the night-time view from the rooftop. Wireless internet only in lounge (radiowaves do not go through stone). Cheap and good laundry service. Easy walk to town centre with lots of restaurants and shops. The owner Hassan was very friendly and informative. He took us to another 9th century church and we ended up buying a carpet from his shop for our daughter, which she loves.Special Experience: Bastoncu Pension Safranbolou. The large room with large beds and large divans was great. The bathroom was very compact and a bit claustrophobic. Wireless internet. Centrally located in the old town. The real special experience was because of the owner and his family who made us feel so welcome. Ahmet and Makbule took us on the private tour to Amasra and Cide and we had a great day out. We really felt like being with friends!Very Good: Grand Onder Hotel in Kusadasi. Nice room with chairs and balcony. Nice breakfast and dinners at the pool-side restaurant (literally on the edge of the pool). No wireless internet, but two computers available in the lobby. A reasonable walk to the town centre, with a small hill to climb on the way back to the hotel. Good: Gulhane Park Hotel in Istanbul: The view over the car park was not attractive, the bathroom flooded when we used the shower, the wireless internet in the room worked, but did not connect to the internet. We had to go downstairs to connect there. The rooftop restaurant has a great view, which we only saw the first evening and following morning because of rain the other days. Great location for seeing the tourist highlights!Acceptable: Pirlanta Hotel Fethiye. Small room, worn out, two comfortable chairs, shower leaking onto bathroom floor, holes in the sheets. Good view from the top floor. The receptionist only spoke Turkish and tried to ignore us, the only foreign guests. A group of mafia types seemed to manage the hotel and verbally abused the staff, making it uncomfortable for guests to be in the lounge or restaurant. The hotel is a long steep climb up from the waterfront road. Too much effort for most people, especially when it is hot! The Turkish bus services are amazing! While it may be convenient to travel overnight, you don't get any sleep because of phones ringing and the frequent stops. We would not take an overnight bus again. Our only bad experience was the smaller bus from Fethiye to Kusadasi. It was a very hot afternoon and the airconditioning could not bring the temperature down to an acceptable level till after sunset. The seats were smaller and far less comfortable than in the big buses and the drinks and snack service was non-existent. Thank you so much for the super organisation of our travels! We have already mentioned you to a number of our friends and hope some of them will actually come to Turkey and use your fabulous services. Feel free to ask us further questions about our experiences. Cheers, Margaretha and Jan van Harmelen

We weren't sure if we were making the right decision when we decided to holiday in Turkey during winter with two little kids. There were so many factors to consider and so many towns and cities to cover in order to experience the whole of Turkey. But once i got in touch with Nejo. He took care of absolutely EVERYTHING, from A to Z. From the planning stage to the execution stage. We did not have to worry about anything. Nejo is a true star when it came to organizing a customized vacation. We covered so many places and destinations across the whole of Turkey WITH two little kids, he catered to all our needs and interests. It was an exciting and adventoures holiday for my family and it would have been impossible without Nejo. Thank yo so much for everything!!

We have always felt that we were experienced travelers, but when it came time to take our trip to Turkey, we wanted to have the benefit of a good travel agency to make sure there were no unexpected surprises. After considerable research, we decided on Zais Travel Agency, and specifically, Mr. Necmettin Demir, whom we affectionately came to know as “Nejo.” In short, Nejo made all arrangements for us in Turkey for a 3 ½ week period. Specifically, this included every (good quality) hotel, every tour, every airplane ticket, every bus ticket, transfers from stations to hotels. In the full 3 ½ weeks, not one arrangement failed to take place, like clockwork, as it was planned. In fact, on a few occasions, for various reasons, we made changes in the itinerary. And yet, somehow, waiting for us on the other end of a transfer was a driver or tour operator who who had already become aware of our change, and was ready to take us to our next destination. If you want a trip where every detail works exactly as planned, use Nejo! Multiple times per day, we commented on what a great job Nejo had done. While planning the trip, Nejo had many suggestions of places to go, and he was also open to our own ideas of other places that we wanted to see. He arranged some small group tours, some individual tours, and allowed us some free days. The group tours were limited to about a dozen people, allowing us the added enjoyment of getting to know travelers from around the world as we saw the sites. We traveled from Istanbul to Kusadasi, Fethye, Pammukale, Antalya, and Cappadocia before going back to Istanbul. We used a combination of airplanes and buses. Nejo had arranged numerous, excellent tours of both archaeological ruins and modern wonders. Nejo even convinced us to take a hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia. We had been quite hesitant to do this, but it turned out to be one of the highlights of the whole trip and well worth cost of the ride! In closing, we unhesitatingly recommend working with Nejo while planning your trip to Turkey, and in fact recommend him to our own families and friends!

Dear Nejo
First I would like to apologize for writing to you this late since we got home safely on Monday, May 3rd. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to you for a wonderful arrangement for our tour to Turkey, especially in the field of transfers, every connection was seamed perfectly. We did not miss anything, any time and any body. Our team had a great time in Turkey even though as Ann mentioned that we had a little scary experience on the way to the airport from Kusadasi to Izmir. We were all deeply impressed by your countrys culture, hospitality, history, landscape and food, of course shopping as well. We do appreciate your recommendation on the leather goods in Kusadaci. It was very good in quality. All the beneficiaries were extremely happy with the products.
However when we got back from Turkey, we told our friends about the experience. They all envy us and would like to go some day. Your country has a great promise for tourism development if all travel agencies are as hospitable and efficient as yours.
Thank you again for everything. Hopefully we will be back again.
Best regards,
Wei Lu
